In-Person Training Sessions on Web of Science, EndNote, InCites & JCR – April 2 & 3, 2025
The library is pleased to announce two in-person training sessions covering Web of Science, Research Assistant, EndNote, InCites, and Journal Citation Reports (JCR). These sessions are designed for PhD scholars, scientists, faculty members, and researchers to enhance their research workflow using these essential tools. Mr. Vishav Sharma, Senior Customer Success Consultant at Clarivate Analytics, will deliver the sessions.
Session 1: Use of Web of Science with Research Assistant and EndNote in Research

- Analyze and find the co-authors, access collaborations, and find suitable funding agencies based on research area
- Explore related topics to narrow or expand your search
- Identify trends in a field to help define your research direction
- Generate networks to visualize connections between people and papers

- Various methods of building a library in EndNote
- Ways of finding the best-fit/most suitable journal for a manuscript ready for publishing
- Creating various types of groups and assigning/sharing references
- Adding annotations/notes and highlighting in full-text
- Writing citations & references using the ‘Cite-while-you-write’ feature
