Instructions for external users

Following categories of external users are permitted to use the JRDTML for reference purposes only between 10:00 A.M. to 05:00 P.M. on all working days except Saturday, Sunday, and IISc Holidays:

• All teaching faculties should produce a valid, original official institute Photo ID card at the Visitors' Counter
• Bachelor Degree Students, Master Degree Students, Doctoral Research Scholars(DRS), Post-Doctoral Fellows(PDF) should carry a valid, original official institute Photo ID Card and a letter from the Principal/HOD/Guide, on the college/university/institution letterhead. The letter should be signed, and the college/university/institution seal should be affixed.
• Please submit a valid, original official institute Photo ID card along with the original letter at the Visitors' Counter
• Please collect the visitor pass from the Visitors' Counter
• You must return the visitor pass on the same day
• For any clarification, please contact the Visitors' Counter  

 NOTE:  Access to the Internet and e-Resources are not allowed for External Users

The J.R.D. Tata Memorial Library access fee for External Users:

*Note: 18% of GST will be added to the JRDTML Access Fee
