This interactive session will provide valuable insights into the scholarly publishing process, including manuscript preparation, journal selection, peer review, and strategies for successful publication. Participants will also have the opportunity to interact directly with Wiley editors and get their queries addressed.
Speakers:
1. Dr. Srimayee Mukherji (former post-doctoral scientist at IISc Bengaluru)
Dr. Mukherjee is a former Postdoctoral fellow at the Indian Institute of Science (IISc, India) until April 2024. Prior to that, she earned her PhD in Computational Physical Chemistry and M.Sc. in Materials Science from Jawaharlal Nehru Centre for Advanced Scientific Research (JNCASR, India).
Dr Mukherjee is an editorial member of key Wiley journals, including ChemSusChem (CiteScore 13.1, Impact Factor 6.6), ChemCatChem (CiteScore 6.1, Impact Factor 3.9), and Chemistry-A European Journal (CiteScore 6.7, Impact Factor 3.7).
2. Dr. Bharath Holenarasipura Rathnakar (former JR fellow at IISc Bengaluru)
Dr Rathnakar is a former Postdoctoral Fellow at the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation, Oklahoma, and a Pre-Doctoral Fellow at the Department of Biophysics, Manipal School of Life Sciences, Manipal Academy of Higher Education, Manipal, India. Prior to that, he was a JR fellow at the Department of Microbiology and Cell Biology of the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, India, and at the Department of Biophysics, Manipal School of Life Sciences, Manipal Academy of Higher Education, Manipal, India. He earned his Master's in Molecular Biology and Human Genetics from Manipal School of Life Sciences, MAHE.
Dr Rathnakar is an editorial member of key Wiley journals, including Advanced Materials (CiteScore 39.4, Impact Factor 26.8) and Advanced Healthcare Materials (CiteScore 14.8, Impact Factor 9.6)
